Kashimi Farms (Kashimi) is a newly established agri-business (registered 26 April 22), based in Lusaka and Solwezi with a focus on tree crops. Kashimi is a Bemba word that means story, speaking to the fact that this farm tells a story. A story of growth, of beginnings, of innovation and challenge.

We are a women-owned and women-led business who bring a combined 60 odd years of corporate and academic leadership to the enterprise. Together we bring a passion and commitment to the business that will take Kashimi from a fledgling business to an enterprise that will produce volumes of quality produce that meet the highest standards.
Our business is only as strong as our people and so we prioritise learning and development; we specifically wish to bring more women on board and empower the women in our communities. As part of our development program, our onboarding program includes training in organic farming principles and specific training on the crops we grow, facilitated by appropriately accredited institutions. Kashimi desires that our people grow with the business.
